Néo-gothico-passé-romantique, j’aime bien le travail de Lyndie Dourthe que j’ai découvert récemment. On partage la même formation et le même background, à savoir Design Textile à Olivier de Serres / Duperré. Marrant de voir à quoi ce même chemin peut mener. Autant je suis dans les grandes largeurs et sur une ligne d’horizon qui traverse tous les domaines, autant Lyndie est précise, précieuse et minuscule dans son cabinet de curiosité sous cloche en verre. Mais le concept, l’univers est là, toujours.
J’ai eu du mal à réaliser que ce sont des bijoux, pour moi ce sont des dessins en 3D, des histoires, des petits objets curieux, uniques et révélateurs. Son petit bijou-coeur (dernière photo), il me le faut absolument.
Lyndie Dourthe – membre du collectif Rouge Manufacture – présentera son travail les 5 et 6 avril prochain à l’occasion des JEMA (Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art).

In an old-gothico-past-romantic way, i really enjoy Lyndie Dourthe’s work that i’ve discovered recently. We both have the same back ground, same studies, Textile Design diploma from both famous Olivier de Serres and Duperré Paris Art schools. Funny to see how different can be the course, even with the same starting point. As much as i am on a horizon line that crosses all areas, as much as Lyndie is precise, precious and tiny inside her curiosity cabinet under glass bell. But the concept, the universe is there, always.
I struggled to realize that they were jewels, for me they are 3D drawings, stories, small curious objects, unique and revealing. Its gem-heart (last photo), I absolutely need it.
Lyndie Dourthe – member of the group Red Manufacture – will present their work on 5 and 6 April on the occasion of JEMA (European Days of Crafts).
